The Single Animal Anaesthesia System is designed as an economical, simple, entry-level system, Animals to be anesthetized are placed into the acrylic induction chamber, and the system delivers a precisely blended mixture of oxygen and isoflurane. After the initial anesthetizing, the animal can be moved to a heated surgical water bed and positioned in the nosecone. A highly sensitive valve regulated by the animal’s breathing works with the nosecone to ensure non-rebreathing efficiency and allow safe anaesthesia for up to 12 hours. The activated charcoal air filter canister at the top of the induction chamber releases safe, filtered, exhaust air back into the room. 

The small animal anaesthesia system includes:

• EZ-108SA Single Animal Anaesthesia with a TEC 3 Isoflurane Key Filled Vaporizer; Oxygen / Air Regulator; Splitter output to supply either an induction chamber of a breather
• 1 x EZ-103A Microflex Breather
• 1 x EZ-178 Sure-Seal Mouse/Rat Induction Chamber (chamber dimensions 23 cm L x 10 cm W x 10 cm H)
• Case of eight ReFresh Charcoal Filters
• Mouse/rat nosecones, nosecone plugs, plastic surgery bed, and all connecting tubes

Note: Oxygen and liquid isoflurane are not supplied. These are required to operate the system.
