Overview
The 68099-11 Precise Impactor is used for traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury models.
The system offers pneumatic-electric control, which can precisely adjust the speed, depth and dwell time to achieve precise impact via a touch screen design for convenient and friendly operation. The zero method uses a sensor contact mechanism to automatically detect the zero interface, which is sensitive and efficient.
- Pneumatic pure electric control and stable chassis design, for precise impact and no vibration
- LCD touch screen, simple operation and easy to use
- Automatic calibrate zero position, avoid tedious manual operation
- High precision rotating adapter, adjust the levelness, inclination and center axis’ alignment of the animal’s head at the maximum limit
- Pneumatic pure electric control, 4.3 inch color LED touch screen operation interface, friendly software interface, easy to operate, wide-angle visual;
- It can automatically detect the zero-hit interface, automatically calibrate, and reduce the tedious manual operation;
- Sound alarm, intelligent text information prompt, fault prompt, enhance the human-machine interaction between equipment and users, reduce human errors in the use process;
- Spinal cord adapter provides a stable way of spinal cord fixation and improves the success rate of modeling;
- Various cylindrical flat head hammers with external diameters of 1.3, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm respectively;
- Maximum strike speed 3.00 m/s
- Speed range 0.50-5.6.00 m/s,
- Precision 0.10 m/s
- Residence time range between 0.00 and 5.00s
- Strike depth precision 0.01 mm
Traumatic Brain Injury

Two kinds of brain adaptors for rats and mice are optional.
The rotational adaptor can rotate left and right ±30°, the height adjustment range of +10~-20mm, and the precise rotational adaptor can rotate left and right ±30°, swing up
and down ±10°, three-axis displacement 30mm; The base is movable, 0~116mm in X direction and 0~98mm in Y direction.
Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

The rat and mouse spinal cord adaptor adopts the method of supporting the spinal cord from the lower sides of the spine to avoid the depth error caused by the collapse of the animal when breathing or
impacting.
The three-axis micro-manipulated rotatable platform includes a universal adjustment device, which can adjust the level of the spinal cord to ensure vertical strikes and improve experiment repeatability.
