HT-1 ''Workhorse'' General Purpose Probe - designed for temperature measurement of liquids, gases and semi-solids. Plastic handle with straight 3'' stainless shaft. Not good for surface temperatures. Maximum temperature 400°C, Time constant 0.5 Seconds. 5 foot lead. Not isolated.
HT-2 ''Workhorse'' General Purpose Probe - designed for temperature measurement of liquids, gases and semi-solids. Plastic handle with straight 9'' stainless shaft. Not good for surface temperatures. Maximum temperature 400°C, Time constant 0.5 Seconds. 5 foot lead. Not isolated.
BT-1 General Purpose Probe - Probably our best general purpose probe designed for temperature measurement of solids, liquids, gases and semi-solids. Welded stainless-stell shaft, plastic handle. Tip is .028'' diameter bent at right angle to probe to facilitate accurate surface measurements. Immersible. Maximum temperature 240°C, Time constant 0.15 Seconds. 5 foot lead. Not isolated.

Time constant is defined as the time  required to reach 63% of final temperature  in liquid.  An accurate reading is obtained  when the reading stops changing, typically  5-10 time constants.

Maximum Temperature refers to intermit tent use of a probe. When probe is used for continuous measurements, maximum temperature should bereduced by 25%.
